As promised, we are back and excited about all the new ideas and projects we are currently busy jumping into.
We’re not quite ready to share them yet. BUT, we are prepared to share where a lot of the ideas originated.
A lot of people view a vacation as a luxury and something that can easily be put-off to another year or another time. But for Carin and I, two people who rely on our creativity every single day, a vacation is a chance to overhaul our entire mindset
I probably feel more creative because I don’t have those 10,000 to-dos floating around in my head; no doctor’s appointment reminders on the answering machine and no closets to clean. I’m sure you get the idea. It’s just my family and I relaxing on the beach.
For me, I need to see the ocean to get my thinking straight. It’s easy to feel creative and to think outside the box when you have a view like this:
We are fortunate to live in the Finger Lakes region, and while we can’t get to the ocean easily, we can always get to a lake. Beautiful lakes with some of the most charming cottages and business I’ve ever seen. Tourism is responsible for a lot of the local revenue and it’s easy to see why when you visit the region.
Carin and I have been inspired by out trips outside the region to the coast and also by our everyday lives here in the Finger Lakes. We’re ready to incorporate that style into our work, which will be easy since we both love it so very much.
